Mile-0-Fest

Mile0fest is a big musical festival in key west every year. I bought the pass today just so I could hear Stephen Wilson Jr. live. There are also many performances scattered around Key West during the next several days the pass allows you to see. Lot’s of music!

Mile-0-Fest
Stephen Wilson Jr is quite a performer.

Next on the Key West adventure is the music festival known as Mile-0-Fest. (Zero) Starting tonight out with dinner at Santiago’s Island Bistro for the second time. It’s amazing. Then catching Stephen Wilson Jr on the main stage.

This is so Key West.  At Santiago’s I sat next to Micheal, a GM at the KW Square Grouper who’s here mainly to try the famous bread pudding made from a croissant. (It was amazing)  We talked about the food scene in Key West (I complained about the triple tail I had the night before at the Square Grouper 😄) and he told me about a trip he’s taking with his girlfriend to walk the El Camino de Santiago in Spain for a month in September.  Key West is such an interesting place with all the people you meet if you are friendly and say “hi”.
