From the food, music, and Key Deer to the evening sail boat rids to view the spectacular sunset, we will review many of Key West’s best kept secrets that will help you feel the draw of this powerful and beautiful place.
Mile-0-Fest
Mile0fest is a big musical festival in key west every year. I bought the pass today just so I could hear Stephen Wilson Jr. live. There are also many performances scattered around Key West during the next several days the pass allows you to see. Lot’s of music!

A huge music festival every year at this time in Key West.
Key Deer Connection
A Key Deer gets into the complex I’m staying at to pay a visit and chew on the landscape a little. He’s a cute little bugger and he listens well too!

Maybe the cutest thing in the Keys!
Key West Comedy
Tonight‘s entertainment was the Comedy Key West version of Hemingway, the Funny Way. I thought it would be a comedy show (as advertised) but it ended up being more of a sorta funny book report. I did learn some things about Hemingway that I’d not known before and

It was a decent show, probably worth the $30 ticket.
Out on the water
Since being in the Key’s I‘ve gone into Key West every day. This morning I took a little time to explore the bay the house is on. It’s a gentle reminder of the beauty of this place. Clear water with life underneath the surface, so much life

Django Walker
Mile 0 Fest really brings great talent to Key West. Django Walker is great, and what a sweet little pool venue for an hour long concert. Feels like he’s in my back yard.
